DAFTAR JUDI - Written by the Greatest Rabbi

The DAFTAR JUDI, known as Judah in Hebrew is a group of Jewish texts. It was written during the twelfth century and follows Jewish law and tradition.
The book was composed by the renowned Rabbi Yehuda Gaon (Samuel G. Ginsburg), while he was in the Holy Land under the command of Rishon Le-Zion. Rishon Le-Zion, the king of Israel, is considered to be the greatest halachic scholar in history. This is due to his being the author of the Zohar, the most highly renowned religious book in the world today. A copy of the JUDI is kept at the Solomon R. Nehemiah Jewish Institute in Jerusalem.
Rishon Le-Zion started his journey to the Holy Land under the rule of King David of Israel. During this period, the Jews faced the question of how to treat idol worshipers and non-Jews who disagreed with their beliefs.
The group of authors called the 'Gazeti', as they were named by Rabbi Yochanan, considered the Baal Shem Tov, which was written by Rabbi Yehuda Gaon, as too lenient, and ruled that the Baal Shem Tov must be replaced by a higher one. He is also believed to have started the concept of Kabbalah.

The authors of the JUDI were loyal followers of Rabbi Yehuda Gaon, and as well as the writings of Kabbalah, were influenced by the views of the author's brother, Rabbi Leoid Trakhan. Rishon Le-Zion also included a treatise on Tanna, which he considered too harsh, and even rejected it. According to the Hasidic view, the real messiah, the Baal Shem Tov, should be slain so that this new one will come from the ashes of the old one.
The DAFTAR JUDI is the best book to understand the Halacha and the origins of Judaism and is considered to be one of the finest works of Rabbinic literature. It deals with the true halachic matters and as such is completely accepted by all Jewish communities around the world. It is written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and English. The book begins with the complete text of the Tannaitic commentary called the Mishneh Torah, followed by an overview of the history of the Jews, followed by the founding of the State of Israel, the Tarot, Jewish law, and the existence of Israel.
It is a great book for anyone studying Judaism. One can see how Rishon Le-Zion viewed the Jews and also know how he treated those who disagreed with him. By reading this book, the reader can better understand the historical background of Jews and Judaism.
